Q & A

Why should I pick you?

A: This Is What I Love To Do. Capturing people’s stories in an authentic and creative manner is what drives me to be a people photographer. I love collaborating with the folks I’m photographing and I genuinely enjoy learning about their lives and listening to their shared stories in the process. I strive to create photographs that capture a vivid account of your meaningful memories, of a time in your life that you hold dear to your heart.

What do your wedding photography collections include?

A: The cost covers the photographers, assistants, lighting, proofs, an album and or prints when desired, and all of the required post processing.
When considering wedding photography, our collections include two professionals. Whether it be two full time photographers, one photographer and one assistant or a mix of both.
Wedding photography collections can be tailored to include the engagement photo shoot at a reduced cost.
Whenever considerable travel is involved, as in the instance of a destination wedding, those costs must also be considered.

When should I expect my photos to be ready to view?

A: Your photos will generally be ready within 3-6 weeks following the wedding. I carefully select the best images from the day and process each one of them with individual attention.

What are your rates?

A: Current rate examples can be found on the Investment page. I make an effort to remain flexible. Depending on individual needs, items can be custom tailored to suite your special day.

Are you Insured?

A: Great question! Yes we are fully insured.
Aside from the fact certain venues require liability insurance, we maintain insurance for additional reasons as well.
Naturally we have instinct to to protect ourselves and our gear. That said, we also maintain photographers liability insurance that covers you, your guests and the venue staff should the need ever arise.
We are happy to provide proof of insurance to you and your venue.

We would like you to shoot our wedding. What's next?

A. Contact me with your wedding date and the venue.
From there we like to set up a face to face to go over any questions you may have and an opportunity to view our portfolio.
Once you have made some decisions I’ll draft a contract for approval. Your date is officially in the calendar once your wedding photography contract and retainer are returned.
After that you can tick “find a photographer” off your to-do list and breathe a little easier.

What do you shoot with?

A: Currently, I shoot with Canon 5D & EOS-R full frame camera bodies and an array of Luxury lenses. Over the years, I have shot with a variety of film cameras as well. I started with a 35mm Minolta x-370 graduating to a Maxxum 7000 handed down by my father. When I began shooting Medium Format film, my absolute favorite cameras to shoot with were the Mamiyaflex C2 twin lens and Hasselblad 500cm.
If you prefer to have your Wedding shot with film, this can be arranged as well.
