This was a wild sight to see.
Regrettably I wasn’t present for the actual barn move, however the structure awaiting a new foundation is impressive to see and photograph.

The 1898 Hilton Barn at LeVie Farm was moved across Maple Avenue on March 29, 2016, in New Scotland, N.Y.

Originally constructed by Frank Osterhout, the historic barn measures 120 feet long – 60 feet tall and 60 feet wide. From what I am told, the barn is destined to become a cafe’ and moving the barn will cost approximately $150,000.
$25,000 of which will come from the town and $50,000 from Albany county.
